About Rising Star Academy
Rising Star Academy (RSA) is FEAT of Washington's best practices early intervention program. Launched in the fall of 2006, RSA provides very high quality ABA-based intervention services for young children with autism and their socially typical peers.
RSA is currently full for the 2010/2011 program year. We are still conducting RSA observations for learners interested in enrolling for the 2011/2012 program year.

RSA Learner Outcomes
Since its inception, learners who attend RSA have enjoyed wonderful benefits as a result of their participation in the program. Across RSA's wide battery of standardized tests in the areas of motor skills, language skills, social skills, adaptive behavior skills, and cognitive skills, the average student on the autism spectrum approximately doubles their rate of development over baseline rates. Typically developing children also more than double their rates of development from participating in RSA.

RSA Learner Happiness and Parent Satisfaction
In addition to measuring how well learners respond to the intervention they receive through RSA, the RSA staff also measure how happy the learners are as they receive intervention and how happy the learners' parents are with RSA. RSA's learners are consistently very happy with the intervention they receive, and RSA parents consistently give RSA top marks in terms of their satisfaction with the program.
