Educational Background:
I have worked in nursing homes and assisted living. Worked in Registration for Evergreen Hospital and Cardiology at Evergreen. I have take the CNA course at Bellevue Community College. I helped my best friend with her son who has Asperger's syndrome. He is a teenager now. I have had great success in getting through to children.

When Alex was little ( he has Asperger's) I was the only one that could get him to take his medication. He trusted me which was big because he did not trust many people. I was able to bond with him. Also - when I worked for Fred Meyer as a cashier a child came through my line in a stroller. He seemed too big for the stroller but I had a conversation with him about his first day at school. The mother was crying when she came to the register to pay. I tried to console her... she told me that her son had autism and did not talk to people. She said that she never heard him have a conversation like ours ever. She told me that I had a gift. I should have pursued my career back then. I have a great love for these children.
