Educational Background: I have just completed my first year as a doctoral student in the University of Washington's Special Education program. My area of specialization is attention deficits and outdoor education, although I have learned a great deal about ASD in my first year programs. I received my Master's Degree in Education, emphasis in curriculum and instruction, in 2009.
Relevant Professional or Work Experience: I have worked as a program coordinator and instructor in the Highline School District for several years,working one on one or in small groups with children to help them understand science curriculum. I worked with a diverse group of children with various disabilities as well as typically developing children.
