Autism Awareness Month 2017
FEAT is involved in several community events this April in honor of Autism Awareness Month! We hope many of our members will be able to join us for:
In recognition of World Autism Awareness Day, the Museum of Flight invites children with autism and their families to join us for an early opening to visit exhibits in a sensory-friendly environment, enjoy a special hands-on family activity, and receive 10% off purchases in the Museum Store.
The J. Elroy McCaw Personal Courage Wing and T. A. Wilson Great Gallery will have adjusted lighting and sound to provide the best possible experience. Free admission offered to children with autism and their families from 8am to 10am.
The All In For Autism 10K & 5K Run/Walk is a family event brought to you by the Bellevue Breakfast Rotary Club to raise awareness for Autism and other related disorders. Funds raised from this event go to Kindering, as well as other identified agencies, plus projects that benefit children and families locally and internationally.
FEAT will have a booth at the event, and we are forming a team of runners/walkers! Click here if you would like to join Team FEAT for this event, and contact Alma Lara at firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions!
