A monthly evening of recreational respite for teens, providing an enjoyable time for participants, and support to parents and caregivers via a much-needed break!
Located in Tacoma at the Metro Parks Portland Ave Community Center. FEAT provides teens with autism, aged 13 to 20, the opportunity to interact and “hang out” with other teens in a fun and safe, understanding and accepting recreational environment. All participants will be under the direct supervision of trained FEAT Experience Learning Project (ELP) staff and peer model volunteers.

This is for families applying for the first time and will help us get to know your child’s individual needs, while ensuring we have the right support and placement fit. You only need to complete this once. Please click the link and print, send completed form to firstname.lastname@example.org who will follow-up with you. Once you have completed the New Family Intake Application and have then been contacted by Katie McAndrew (Program Manager), you may register your teen for participation. Space is limited.

The fee is $25.00 per teen and will be collected at time of registration. Registration fee is non-refundable.
We all need a break and a chance to recharge the batteries. FEAT aims to provide support to the families in our community who so tirelessly support their children!
