Q: If I have been awarded a Ben’s Fund grant in the past, or currently applying, or wish to apply in the future, am I still eligible to apply for a Surface?
A: Yes, this giveaway is separate from Ben’s Fund and does not impact with eligibility for the Surface giveaway.
Q: If awarded a surface, will this no longer make me eligible to apply for a Ben’s Fund grant?
A: No, this giveaway is separate from Ben’s Fund and does not impact with eligibility for a Ben’s Fund grant.
Q: What if my annual household income is too high?
A: Priority of Surface giveaway will be given to those with higher need. Proof of annual household income may be requested if selected.
Q: I live outside of Washington State, can I apply?
A: No, you must reside in Washington state to be eligible, PO Box addresses will not be accepted on the application. If selected proof of residence may be requested.
Q: My child just turned 19 years old, can I still apply?
A: No, at this time the giveaway is for those up through the age of 18 years old.
Q: I don’t know if I my application was successful?
A: As soon as you submit your application you will receive a confirmation thanking you for your submission.
Q: How many surfaces can I apply for?
A: You may apply for one Surface per child with autism. You must be the parent or legal guardian.
Q: How many times can I apply? Will my odds of winning increase with more entries?
A: You may apply ONCE per child with autism. Your odds of winning do not increase by submitting multiple applications.
Q: How do I know if I have been selected to receive a Surface?
A: All applicants will be contacted via email on April 20 2016, you will know if you have been successful as it will say Congratulations! If you have not been selected it will say that you have been unsuccessful. If you do not receive an email to your inbox, please check your spam or filter settings.

A: While it is highly recommended that you obtain one, the Surface does not come with a protective case. It comes with a clip-on keyboard.
